In embedded systems, Wireless Sensor Network is the interesting field which provides various applications such as battlefield surveillance, disaster management, habitat monitoring, home automation, health care systems etc. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) handles a huge number of tiny, cost effective, low powered, autonomous devices called sensor nodes which can perform sensing, processing and communicating operations. WSN has many constraints like energy utilization, limited memory and power consumption. Data aggregation is an intelligent technique which accumulates data from disparate sources by using various aggregation techniques. One of the crucial techniques in WSN is data aggregation which greatly increases the energy efficiency and network lifetime by reducing the number of data transmissions.
