A Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile nodes having ability to communicate with each other without any fixed network infrastructure. Due to the unavailability of controlling entity, routing and network management are done cooperatively by respective nodes. MANET is an autonomous system where each node act as an end system as well as a router to forward packets for other nodes., intermediate nodes are used to transmitting the packets from the source to the destination node, through different routing protocols i.e. AODV, DSR, GRP and OLSR etc.
