One important technology for providing IT solutions to the customers, today, is Cloud Computing. This technology has been identified as one of the megatrends with effects to information technology in all areas and branches. According to defined service models cloud offers make available both, hardware resources, i.e. memory capacity, servers, or processing power, as well as software, which are applications or IT services. These offers generate a basis for new business fields and business activities. At the same time, they support small and medium-sized enterprises to outsource many of their IT infrastructures. By doing so, the Cloud Computing business model supports a transfer of a customer's investments to the customer's operating costs.
