Due to continuously increasing demand of wireless communication technology, the problem of spectrum shortage arises. Cognitive radio technology enables efficient utilization of the existing wireless spectrum resources. CRN (Cognitive Radio Network) utilizes spectrum band by allowing secondary users to use the spectrum opportunistically, by changing their transmission parameters. The authors need to analyze the performance of a wireless network. To analyze the performance of a wireless network, game theory is used due to its ability to model individual, independent decision makers.
