Today, most of the client-server applications rely on database as a data store for servicing requests from multiple clients. Data organization and management have become so complex and challenging in this electronic age of information. The database technologies have constantly evolved to meet these changing requirements by adopting object oriented programming concepts. Most of the applications use a Relational DataBase Management System (RDBMS) as their data store. The main theme of this paper is incorporating object-oriented programming concepts into existing relational databases.
