Authenticated Tangible Interaction Using RFID and Depth-Sensing Cameras
Interactive large screen displays like tabletops or walls can enhance the interaction between humans and computers. A major topic is the collaboration between multiple simultaneous interacting people. However, most systems suffer from the problem that a distinction of different users is not possible. Hence, in this paper the authors present a work in progress approach of combining various existing technologies in order to enable personalized authenticated tangible interactions on a tabletop. Therefore, authentication using Radio-Frequency Identification in combination with depth-sensing cameras is used.
