In this paper, the authors propose to improve LAN bandwidth capacity between specified path segments in a distributed network. Accurate measurement of network bandwidth along with perfect time period is important factor for network management applications as in intranet applications and protocols which are actively manage and dynamically adapt to varying consumption of network resources. The existing work is focused on two approaches to measuring bandwidth capacity of the network are: calculating it by hop-by-hop, and measuring it end-to-end along a specified path of a distributed network, which can measure bottleneck capacity bandwidth along arbitrary, targeted sub paths of a path in the network, including sub paths shared by a set of flows, and the propose techniques are only able to observe bottlenecks visible at end-to-end scope.
