Better Network, Better Surveillance

Physical Security involves the monitoring, detection, prevention and post-incident resolution of physical intrusions into an organization or location. It consists of video surveillance, intelligent building alarms, access control, and video analytics, as well as incidence response and resolution. The physical security industry is in the midst of a rapid transition from analog to IP-based infrastructures. According to IMS Research, IP cameras (key to nearly all surveillance systems) accounted for 30% of all video camera shipments in 2011, and are expected to surpass analog camera shipments by 2015.
