UWB (Ultra-Wide Band antenna) systems is used to provide low-complexity, low power consumption and high data rate at low cost with high efficiency. In recent years, UWB antenna system attracts most of the researchers and it is widely use in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and WLAN for production of large frequencies. It can also be used in mobile transceivers and laptops etc. In this paper, novel circular UWB antenna which works at a frequency range of several Giga Hertz (GHz) is proposed. The performance characteristics of the proposed antenna with the help of its radiation pattern and intensity plot are analyzed.
