In this system traffic data like videos, number of vehicles, type of vehicles, etc. is used to infer patterns of traffic and congestion. The traffic data collected is very huge (terabytes). Hence big data analysis is required for analysis of this data and to make some conclusions and develop a traffic management policy accordingly. With increase in population and need of a vehicle as a basic need, the traffic problem is increasing rapidly at an uncontrollable rate. Efficient traffic management systems need to be adopted without which it may lead to a traffic chaos in the upcoming future.
