Business telecoms head for the cloud

With fixed and mobile telecommunications spend set to rise to a record £40 billion in the UK by 2015, public and private sector organisations are turning to the cloud, not only to cut their costs but to find new flexibility and agility in the way they run their businesses. Industry analysts agree that the market for VoIP services has continued do well despite two years of economic upheaval, growing from around £21Bn worldwide three years ago to more than £30Bn last year, and on course for £46Bn by 2015. Within this burgeoning market it is SIP Trunking - the preferred way of deploying SIP telephony within medium to large organisations - that is showing the fastest growth of all.
