CHROME: Improving The Transmission Reliability By Bandwidth Optimization Using Hybrid Algorithm
An approach to improve the transmission reliability by network bandwidth optimization using the hybrid algorithm called chrome. The main objective is to design an optimization algorithm to achieve bandwidth optimization in wireless networks using hybrid of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) which improves the transmission reliability. In this approach, global search character of PSO and local search character of GA are used. In chrome algorithm, the PSO algorithm is used to search around the environment and where ever necessary the GA's searching techniques are used for optimization.
