Circular Patch Monopole Antenna with Hexagonal Slot for Triple Band Frequency Applications
Modern and future wireless systems are placing greater demands on antenna designs. Printed monopole antennas are widely used in wideband communication systems. Among the printed monopole antennas of various shapes, circular monopole antenna is simple in geometry and their radiation patterns are Omni directional with wide bandwidth. In this paper, a circular patch microstrip antenna with hexagonal slot behaves as a triple band monopole antenna. It is designed for 1.7434-1.7636GHz, 2.4731-2.5364GHz and 2.7403-2.7923GHz frequency bands.
