Closed Loop Micro strip Antenna Design for Wireless Technology
A small dual band microstrip patch antenna is introduced. The advance of communication systems requires new antenna designs to comply with the ever-increasing demands of the wireless market. This presented antenna is designed to function in the 3.7GHz and 5.4GHz wireless LAN 802.11a frequency bands. The antenna designs are being conditioned by miniaturization and migration to new frequencies (IEEE 802.11a), while keeping compatibility with other systems poses yet additional constrains. This contribution presents a novel monopole multi-band printed antenna design for Wi-Fi systems.
