Comparative Analysis and Performance Assessment of PAPR Reduction Schemes in OFDM System

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a prominent technology for next generation high data rate communication systems. But there are several problem associated with design of OFDM system which needs to be addressed. High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of OFDM system is one of the most important issues, which needs to be addressed. In OFDM there is an IFFT used at the transmitter, which adds the N sinusoids through superposition. When the instantaneous amplitude of two or more signals have high peak at the same time then their sum creates high peak.
