Comparison of Performance Analysis for Wavelet and Eigen Value Based Detection in Cognitive Radio Networks
Spectrum sensing is a key factor in Cognitive Radio Networks (CRN). This is the method in which the cognitive system scans the entire bandwidth available in the spectrum and detects the holes in it i.e., if the frequency is not being used by the licensed users and allows the unlicensed users to utilize the spectrum whenever it is free. The sensing is done by different techniques. This paper concentrates on wavelet and Eigen value based detection and the comparison of the performance analysis of threshold value in those methods for IEEE 802.11a WLAN OFDM signal.
