For the implementation of different types of Information Systems in general and Business Process Management Systems in particular many approaches are available. However, most of the existing methods, frameworks, roadmaps, etc. Take a one-size fits all view on the implementation project and do not consider the specific situation at hand. In the authors' opinion the context strongly determines the success of an implementation project. In this paper, a method is provided for the implementation of Business Process Management Systems that is based on critical success factors that are known to influence the implementation success.
