Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has recently come forth as an eminent technology for monitoring and event detection application. In WSN a large number of sensor nodes perform sensing of a target field. The target field is said to be k-covered, if its every point is within the sensing range of at least k-sensors. The k-coverage verification algorithm is proposed for verifying k-coverage of a d-dimensional target field. The coverage verification problem in d-dimensional is reduced to (d-1) dimension by the use of dimension reduction technique based on divide and conquer approach.
