Aiming to the requirement of IoT (Internet of Things) application development and the data unification-modeling requirement of measuring and control system, it develops a general data exchanging technology of measuring and control system based on IPv6 and XML. The system uses the Embedded Micro Internet Technology (EMIT) of ARM chip, network communication chip LXT971 and socket network programming to realize the design of IPv6 hardware interface and network communication. Based on the IPv6 communication technology, the paper applies XML in data exchanging of system, it analyses crossing platform XML information flow in the measuring and control system, and it uses UML modeling and DOM interpreter to realize general data exchanging interface, and the crossing platform storage and issuance of XML data.
