A simple rectangular microstrip patch antenna is used to meet the desired gain, polarization and return loss requirements. The simulation studies are carried out using Ansoft HFSS (High Frequency Structural Simulator) Simulation tool. The simulation results are obtained and optimization of different parameters is carried out for achieving aimed specifications. This 4G MIMO antenna is designed to operate at a resonant frequency of 1920MHz. Patchwork technique is used for the antenna fabrication for its simplicity and cost efficiency.
