"A Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes (hosts) which communicate with each other via wireless links either directly or relying on other nodes such as routers. The network nodes in MANET are free to move randomly therefore, the network topology of a MANET may change rapidly and unpredictably. Due to the dynamic change in topology finding route is very difficult. Some nodes misbehave as they participate in route establishment phase but refuse to forward the data packets to converse their own energy."
