Design and Implementation of a Device which Supports Wireless Real Time Video Transmission and Half Duplex Voice Communication

The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a wireless communication system with real time video transmission and half duplex voice communication facilities incorporated. Portability, reliability, security, ease of maintenance and cost optimization is the main design concerns in their paper. In this paper, raspberry Pi is introduced for wireless video transmission, video recording and image capturing. Pi camera is interfaced with raspberry pi for capturing videos. Video transmission process is completed through Wi-Fi network. SA828 module is used for half duplex voice communication. Use of IP address of the network in their device ensures security. The system is designed carefully so that it suits remote monitoring.
