Design and Simulation of Koch Fractal folded-slot Antenna for Next Generation Mobile Networks
The author has designed a folded-shot fractal antenna with single iteration with help of Koch iteration technique to achieve multiband properties. Antenna simulation tool Ansoft HFSS is used to design and simulate. Antenna proposed by them work with six frequency bands with acceptable return loss. Implementation of folded slot antenna is done over a single slot antenna. Proposed design of antenna offers less than -10dB return loss for six bands 2.37GHz, 4.00GHz, 5.57GHz, 6.11GHz, 7.27GHz and 8.95GHz with -22.28dB, -18.43dB, -14.85dB, -25.05dB, -18.43dB and -11.88dB return loss respectively.
