The dynamic and static performance of the three-phase active rectifiers depends strongly on adopted control methods. A new, simple, accurate, and fast integration algorithm for estimating the VF space vector in VF-based control methods for grid-connected three-phase active rectifiers is proposed in this paper. The VF space vector is calculated by integrating the grid voltage space vector. This integration is usually performed using a First Order Low Pass (FOLP) filter, which counteracts the saturation and dc-drift problems associated with pure integrators.
