Design and Simulation of Ultra Wide Bandwidth Microstrip Patch Antenna for Wireless Applications Using IE3D Software

Ultra-WideBand (UWB) is a communication method, rapidly used in wireless communications to achieve high bandwidth applications with low power consumption. This paper presents design and simulation of ultra wide bandwidth micro-strip patch antenna for wireless applications. The antenna was designed on FR4 with size 38.93x48.03x1.58mm3 and dielectric constant is 2.4. The antenna designed by using Zeland IE3D simulation software. The designed antenna made for UWB ranging from 2GHz to 10GHz. The detail designed and the graphs are shown in this paper.
