Design and Stimulation of New Fractal Antenna with Improved Return Loss at Various Frequencies for Ultra Wide Band Applications

In this paper, the design of micro strip feed ultra-wideband fractal antenna under different resonance frequency. A single feed compact fractal antenna for multi band is demonstrated in this paper. Five iterations an introduced over the patch for reducing the resonant frequency. Four resonant frequencies at 1.95GHz, 3.6GHz, 4.8GHz and 6.4GHz respectively are obtained for the proposed antenna. The experimental results of fractal antenna show ultra-wideband characteristics from frequency range of 1.8GHz to 6.5GHz.
