In this paper, the authors attempt to design an embedded device named as Load Mover (LM). The primary purpose of this LM will be to move objects from one place to another. LM will have its own intelligence to move automatically on a pre-defined track. The development of LM traverses the various stages in the embedded design cycle. The functionality has been verified using Finite State Machines (FSMs) in state-flow using Simulink. The experimental testing has been done by creating a device around arduino running on a created user grid.
