Design High Directive Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna with Superstrate

In this paper, the authors present the effects of superstrate & designed to enhance the performance parameters of rectangular microstrip patch antennas. The Modified Split Ring Resonator (MSRR) is used in design. At frequency 2.2GHz, the microstrip patch antenna is designed with the help of superstrate. Metamaterial superstrate is a significant method to obtain high directivity of one or a few antennas. In this paper, the characteristics of directivity enhancement using metamaterial structures as antenna superstrates that is artificial magnetic superstrate.
