High-performance filter is the key to improving the detection accuracy of video and image processing. In order to achieve high-precision measurement of small signals, this paper presents an FPGA implementation of a high performance rank filter for video and image processing. In this paper, the system design mainly includes programmable amplifier circuit design, programmable filter circuit design, amplitude-frequency test circuit design, display circuit and the keyboard circuit design. The architecture exploits the features of current FPGAs and offers tradeoff between complexity and clock speed.
