Design of Circular Microstrip Antenna in GSM Band for GPS Applications
The wireless technology is mostly preferred for communication. Microstrip patch antennas are widely used in different sectors because they are compact, light-weight and ease to manufacture. This paper represents the design of circular microstrip patch antenna on FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness 0.0762cm. For excitation, coaxial feed is used at (-1.075 and 0). The antenna is designed and analyzed by using Ansoft Designer SV2.2 software. The return loss, S parameter, VSWR and radiation pattern is studied.
