As the authors are aware of the fact that the developments of multimedia technology and internet networks have contributed immensely to improvements in the standard of learning as well as distance learning in developed world, the developing world is still not in position to take advantage of these improvements because of limited spread of these technologies, lack of proper management and infrastructure problems. They have to strive hard to succeed in solving these problems to enable people of developing countries to take advantages of these technologies for distance learning otherwise the vast majority of the world population will be falling behind. In this paper, they explore how to use mobile technology to provide distance learning in an efficient way using advanced multimedia tools.
