Disturbance is one of the main reasons that caused the performance of AC servo system decrease. The performance of the system is depended mainly on its ability to reject disturbance. The traditional PID controller is poor to load changes, weak to resist interference and easy to be affected by the change of system parameters, so it is difficult to meet the high precision requirements of the servo system. Therefore, the Disturbance OBserver (DOB) is used in position loop of servo system to deal with these problems in this paper.
