Broadcasting is a fundamental service in Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs). Routing in MANET is an import service for forwarding messages between the nodes. If numbers of nodes are increased, network becomes crowded and this will increase collision. Due to collision forwarding, messages get duplicated and energy consumption, delay, power consumption will increase. To overcome this issue, the authors propose a Dynamic Cluster Routing Protocol (DCRP) for forwarding the messages between the nodes. This paper presents comparative analysis of Weighted Clustering Algorithm with their proposed algorithm for routing in MANET with respect to collision, energy consumption, end to end delay, power consumption and throughput. Simulation work done using simulator Glomosim 2.03, indicates better performance of the proposed protocol.
