A Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a self structured infrastructure less network of mobile devices connected by wireless. Each device in a MANET is free to move independently in any direction, and will therefore change its links to other devices frequently. Load balancing is a technique to share out workload across network links, to achieve maximize throughput, minimize response time, and avoid overload. Load imbalance is a one of the critical issue in the ad-hoc network. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method is used to implement the authors' proposed technique.
