Link failure is one of the major issues in both wireless as well as wired network. In networks the link failure may be occurred due to a loss of energy in nodes, congestion and power loss in nodes. There are many techniques that are used for protection against the link failure and the authors are using one of the best techniques, i.e. through a multipath routing. In this technique they use network-coding protection for both single and multiple-link failures. The proposed strategy states that in connection each node receives a multiple copies of same data. First copy from the primary path, i.e., working circuit and second copy from secondary path.
