EISP: Enhance Instability Period in Wireless Sensor Networks
This paper proposes a new cluster based protocol to improve instability period (time between the first and the last nodes dies in the network) and lifetime of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Improvement of WSN lifetime is one of the most popular fields of research in recent years. WSN lifetime ends by finishing nodes energy. Instability period is important factor that affect WSN life time. Proposed protocol decreases instability period by balancing nodes energy as a result enhance WSN life time. Clustering is based on nodes grading and nodes with higher grade become cluster head. Simulation result shows new protocol improve WSN instability period and lifetime rather previous protocols that select cluster head base on probability.
