Cognitive Radio (CR) is a novel concept that allows wireless systems to sense the environment, adapt, and learn from previous experience to improve the communication quality. The signal is detected by comparing the output of the energy detector with a threshold which depends on the noise floor. Spectrum sensing on reallocation is a concept of detecting the usage of carrier signal by different nodes and allowing the free spectrum to be used by nodes other than the principle of spectrum holder node.
