Energy Efficient Scheduling Framework for Cloud Computing Using Ranking Algorithm
Cloud computing provides everything as a service and solves high performance and high throughput computing problems through sharing resources ranging from personal computers to super computers distributed around the world. In cloud computing, one of the major problems is resource scheduling, i.e. allocating tasks to resources efficiently. In addition to completion time, the author also takes energy consumption of data centers into account. In this paper, energy efficient scheduling framework proposed for the job scheduling problem.
