Enhancing the Role of Coordinator in SOA
Web Services Coordination (WS-Coordination) describes an extensible framework for providing protocols that coordinate the actions of distributed applications. Web services are a typical implementation of the SOA paradigm, and services are more and more used to support business processes. Transactional activity control plays an important role for such process as it preserves the consistency. The existing framework for the Transactional activity control contains the rules that are set to work for single domain web services and in the current approach the accuracy of information retrieval is also minimal. In this paper the authors proposed a framework which is based on WS-Coordination and WS-Business Activity to address these limitations.
