In this paper, performance analysis of the wired computer networks for combination of conventional model of RIP and EIGRP is evaluated through simulation which has been attempted using packet tracer as simulating tool. The Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is one of the first widely used routing protocols. RIP takes the hop count as a routing metric; the maximum number of hops allowed for RIP is 15. This hop count limits the size of network in RIP. EIGRP is a Cisco-proprietary routing protocol. This is also called as hybrid routing protocol. It supports CIDR and VLSM.
