Algebraic congruent codes utilizes congruent operators within the Galois field to obtain the address sequences of different users for OCDMA system. With same or different operators, different sequences could be generated based on model A and model B, such as prime sequences, quadratic congruent sequences, hyperbolic congruent sequences, and cubic congruent sequences by time spreading, frequency hopping and spatial encoding. In this paper, the authors explore 3D code-set along with system design using optical orthogonal codes and the sequences generated from algebra from finite field for OCDMA system. Services of varying data rates as well as variable quality of service could be provided in novel 3-D code-set for OCDMA system.
