Sustaining high performance among employees and driving their behavior towards change, resilience, commitment, pro-activeness and work engagement have been identified as major challenges facing leaders and human resource management personnel in organizations. An important factor influencing such behavioral attitudes and inclinations is employee engagement. This paper was carried out to determine factors influencing employee engagement and employee centric performance among 185 personnel working in various organizations, at various positions. The paper identified the major factors underlined as employee commitment, readiness for change, pro-activeness, behavior of resilience and employee engagement through a generation of excitement and self inspiration.
