In this paper the authors present a simple but secure novel reversible scheme for hiding a whole encrypted image inside another cover image. A selected image to be hidden is first encrypted using logical bit operations. A circular bit rotation and XOR operations are applied on an image according to a variable length randomly generated numerical encryption key. Each pixel is rotated to the left when encountering a positive key value and to the right when encountering a negative key value; then the resulting rotated pixel is XORed with the key and the same procedure is performed for each pixel.
