Many users with Windows computers like to keep their systems in the power-saving sleep mode rather than shut it down every evening. One of the reasons is the amount of time Windows takes to boot and launch startup applications. However, problems arise when the startup applications face issues, especially when they have been tried to be uninstalled but still have some remnants left in the computer's registry. Hence, when users try to boot their machines, the computer gets confused trying to find the uninstalled files, thus taking longer to boot.
