Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSANs) use mobile nodes in addition to fixed small sensors. Similarly, mobile sensors make it possible to hold the flexibility of mobility in Mobile Sensor Network (MSN) applications. Mobility can be abused to connect partitioned WSANs and MSNs due to large scale damages or deployment problems. Actors have to coordinate their operation, it is important to maintain a strongly connected network topology at all times. On the other hand, a failure of an actor may cause the network to partition into disjoint blocks and would, thus, break such a connectivity goal.
