Trust and trust networks provide a more effective way to reduce complexity in condition of increasing social complexity. Although a number of computational issues about trust have been studied, there has to date been a little attempts to investigate Subjective Trust (ST) and Transitive Trust (TT). In this paper, the authors will rectify this omission. Particularly, they propose some formation rules for ST and TT. Particularly, they show ST is related to preferences of agents and the formation process of ST and TT by 3 rules and an example.
