Construction of flexible query interface constitutes a very important part in the design of information systems. The major goal is that new queries can easily be built by either the developers or the end-users of information systems. Some information systems would provide a list of predefined queries and future additional queries would need to be reconstructed from scratch. Thus, the low degree of reusability of query modules is a limitation of the database query report systems that these information systems are based on. This paper presents Generic Query Toolkit, a software package that automates the query interface generation process.
