Graph is an omnipotent mathematical tool. As graph can be encoded efficiently, it has many real life applications in several fields. This paper focused on the field related with computer science and engineering and gives a brief literature survey of the applications of graph in the areas like designing secure cryptographic protocol, reducing search space in combinatorial search problems (e.g. Graph search), increasing network security by anonymizing the network graph, steganography, software watermarking, fingerprinting, graph coding, IP protection schemes etc.
