Grid Computing Integrated With Mobile Computing Wireless Devices
One application domain the mobile computing has not yet entered is that of grid and cluster computing: the aggregation of network-connected computers to form a large scale, distributed system that can be used for resource intensive scientific or commercial applications in a scalable and cost effective manner. This research paper views grid and cluster computing nodes as small scale devices comprises laptops, tablets, PDA's etc that can be connected through an internet, potentially through wireless links. The integration of these devices leads to many difficulties because small scale devices are heterogeneous and lack the computational, bandwidth, storage and availability characteristics commonly required for high performance in distributed computing.
