As a startup company to provide the service for mobile apps fitness, RunKeeper is facing the issue that due to the increase of users, they have to solve the scalability of an existing database. By utilizing the IBM Cloudant Dedicated Cluster, a large amount of simultaneous read and the higher performance to the write data layer could be achieved. It is now possible to scale up the corresponding increase in the number of users. RunKeeper can shape up with lean administration and superior user experience more easily.
